Magnificent costume study by Bernard Buffet, titled at the top "Sagoins" and annotated in the margin "very tight pink-violet trousers", for Marcel Aymé's operetta play, "Patron".

"Patron," an operetta by Marcel Aymé, premiered at the Sarah Bernhardt Theatre on September 10, 1959, with Zizi Jeanmaire in the lead role. The staging and choreography were entrusted to Roland Petit (Zizi Jeanmaire's husband), the music to Guy Béart, and the sets and costumes to Bernard Buffet.
